AutoPlus is a franchise owned by GIAT (Gulf International Automobile Trading), established in 1998 in the United Arab Emirates under Gulf Automobile Trading as a Limited Liability Company with an official capital of AED 85 million.

From its inception in the United Arab Emirates, AutoPlus was determined to be distinctly unique in its operations and product and service offerings. To this end, AutoPlus designed and developed various systems and processes that challenged the status quo in the used cars market. In fact, AutoPlus were the first to display their cars in luxurious and spacious showrooms, and also the first to offer a special short term warranty that provided customers with host exclusive advantages including a 3-day money back guarantee and a 1-month car exchange policy.

Today, AutoPlus continues to be innovative in its outlook and pioneers in providing services that constantly redefine market standards.  

AutoPlus displays more than 100 vehicles in its luxurious showrooms in prime locations around the city. The company opened its 1st AutoPlus showroom in 1999 on Sheikh Zayed Road, a landmark avenue in Dubai. Even today, the showroom enjoys the distinction of being one of the biggest used cars showrooms in the UAE.

To cater to the needs of a growing customer base, AutoPlus opened its 2nd showroom in Sharjah at Al Wahdah Road, in 2003. The showroom is now a prominent landmark in Sharjah with a capacity to display 25 cars in an inviting and comfortable environment.

In keeping with its dynamic growth profile, AutoPlus launches its the latest showroom in Garhoud, opposite Al Bustan Rotana Hotel. This new location is aimed at providing customers in and around Dubai downtown with superior sales and after-sales services that they have come to expect from AutoPlus

With Rent-A-Car services increasingly gaining importance, AutoPlus established its own Car Rental Division in 2003. The division now operates a fleet of more than 300 vehicles catering to customers' needs in the city.
